Rosemary honey oat biscuits
Rosemary, Honey and Oat biscuits

These rosemary, honey oat biscuits are a light crispy oat biscuit. Beginner friendly and no fancy equipment needed.


They can be made with Olivani or standard butter.



Ingredients

125g olivani or butter

100g caster sugar

60g honey

125g plain flour

150g oats

5g baking powder

1tsp fresh rosemary


You can cut the honey down, but you will have to increase the Olivani or butter or the mixture will become a bit drier.

The Process

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees on bake setting

  2. Combine and cream butter sugar and honey together until pale

  3. Add oats, Rosemary and sift in flour and baking powder.

  4. Mix until combined.

  5. Add teaspoon amounts onto a lined baking tray. flatten and shape with a floured fork or spoon.

  6. Bake until golden brown 15-20mins

  7. Transfer onto a wire rack to cool


They will come out of the oven a bit soft. As they cool they will harden and become crispy.
